So Getou really does want to rid the world of curses, which is nice. But thanks to a bunch of rotten apples, he's more than happy to kill all non-sorcerers to make that happen. I don't blame him for snapping in that moment, given the buildup and how shitty those adults were being to those two girls. The way he had his thumb pressing his forehead seemed like it was some sort of itch, like he was trying to wrap his head around the situation, and trying to maintain his composure.
