Self Tie Self Care
Added 2022-08-31 21:26:10 +0000 UTCThe month of August was a wild ride! Cambodia continues to impress me beyond my wildest conjectures. I've been busy singing, drumming, dancing, teaching, writing, making new friends, cooking, and exploring. I even got laid off and started a new job a week later. Not gonna lie, I wore myself out this month and have to take it a bit easier in September.
I haven't done a self tie in several years, mainly because I had quite a few volunteers back in Los Angeles. These rope riggings were so comfortable! I really enjoyed myself to a surprising degree. There will absolutely be more self ties in the future. This is a form of self-communication, meditation, and self love. It's a little bit miraculous to be able to feel my own control and care in this way. I've got a firm grip and a tender heart.
