2021-12-21 20:57:57 +0000 UTCActually lot of Korean fans/public call them Skids because its the shortened version that Chan came up with when JYP asked them during the survival show pre-debut how they would deal with Stray Kids being a typically hard name for Korean Natives to pronounce. International fans would usually pronounce it as 'skz' (skeez) but the correct pronounciation that Chan and the boys officially said for 'skz' is actually 'skids' haha so the captions were right

This was when JYP said stray kids was too long and might be hard for the korean audience to pronounce and remember. So the name skid is short for stray kids and common amongst k fans
