That said, I think Mahiru posed a valid question about why he wants to become a vampire. If it was me, I'd have been like, "Well uh, vampires can fly." Lol. But I can't imagine Ko sucking blood, and I get the feeling that it's not like vamps can suck other vamp blood, it has to be from humans. So if both he and Nazuna are vampires and have to feed.... and even with 10 years, the urge probably gets worse over time, so he would probably not want to cut it that close.

Nazuna is revealing that just "existing" for an eternity is boring and empty. And the detective said that she'll kill him if he turns and the other vampires will kill both him and Nazuna if he doesn't.
