Patron Map - Bandit Outpost

1. Wooden Outpost in the Forest
2. Outpost carved out of some Stone Caves
3. Outpost on a Hill
4. Pirate Island Outpost

I think a ruined keep or crafted-from-the-forest would both be cool, though a ruined keep has the added quality if having a previous history, which can at least make it somewhat more interesting -- even if nobody really ever knows. ;)

2020-09-04 16:50:01 +0000 UTCI agree with Luke & Ryan above. I like the idea of a bandit hideout in a ruined keep, that they have modified with wooden barricades, pit traps, & other rudimentary defenses. This could fit into almost any terrain setting.

2020-09-04 16:24:31 +0000 UTC1 or 4.;I think many cave maps have been made and could be easily adapted into bandit hideouts/outposts. Then again maybe you had something special in mind. And I agree with Lukaluke about the hilltop being less strategic unless they were brazen and otherwise uncontested in the area.

I just grabbed a random image that looked like a Bandit Outpost. ;) Just curious what TYPE of bandit outpost you would like to see most, if you could choose. Could be a Pirate Island Outpost, for that matter, etc...

2020-08-29 13:48:52 +0000 UTCWell, the image here corresponds to 1 and 3. And apropos the discussion we had earlier, I think having an accompanying image improves immersion. So, perhaps merge 1 and 3? On a hill, surrounded by jungle?
