Y'all need to stop explaining every single thing to reactors, it's okay for them to figure things out as the story progresses. People just have the urge to talk too much.

When Ace let it slip out and said don’t laugh at his brother and she teared up cause Roger said the same thing to Whitebeard and Oden. It’s not to be King of the Pirates; he just needs that title to accomplish his dream. Luffy’s actually dream isn’t to be King of the Pirates but something beyond that. It’s just we as readers and watchers never knew till now. :) Oda is an insane storyteller cause this was hinted all the way back in the Ace Sabo and Luffy flashback, it’s just we assumed when it cut away Luffy said to be King of Pirates like he always does. But think about Luffy has never straight up said “My Dream is to be King of the Pirates.” He always says “Im gonna be King of the Pirates.” ❤️

2023-12-17 17:56:40 +0000 UTCI think Yamato & Uta also know the dream. Ace told Yamato by accident, and that's what made her believe in Luffy. "Someone in Oden's Log said the same words!" And Luffy in the Uta Flashback Episodes discussed their dreams with one another.

She's far stronger than everyone else on the island, has a close bond with both of them, and they came to the rescue immediately once the Warlord Status was revoked. Plus, the Kuja is known to head out to sea and then come back to the Island and give birth. She could have been raised on the Island. Even if it's not a Blood relation, they are definitely Parent figures to her.

WB and Oden had similar reactions to all the SHs in this episode and the fact Shanks cried when Luffy told him all but confirms their dream is the same (since it reminded Shanks of his old captain, Roger).
