[Info] Important Changes

Hey everyone, if you watched The Game Awards, I hope you had a great time. As for Rebirth, I’ll definitely be taking a look at it when it releases in January. hopefully, it won’t have anything custom like Remake.

That aside, I want to share a few changes I’ll be making to my Patreon and Discord. I’ve been working on these adjustments for over a month to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Most of the changes are effective immediately, with the exception of two points, which I’ll outline below.

1. I'm making some changes to how I post links. I've created a new channel in my Discord server called 'year-two-mods' where you can input a command to receive links to the mods. For example, you'd type ?november-2024, and a bot will send you a message with a spreadsheet containing all the downloads for all the November 2024 mods. There is a pinned message in the channel that further explains how to use the commands. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the Discord.

The reason for this change is to keep things more organized, as the increasing number of mods has made things a bit cluttered. I highly recommend joining my Discord server so you can request mods whenever you want without needing to contact me directly. However, if you cannot or do not wish to join the server, just send me a message here on Patreon, and I'll forward the links to you. I’ll try to find a way to automate this process on Patreon as well, but for now, if you want instant access without waiting, you'll need to join my Discord.

I’m also considering posting the latest mod directly in the post itself, then moving it to Discord after the next one drops. This approach could help reduce traffic and give new members time to understand the system, but I haven’t finalized the decision yet.

2. Patreon is rolling out a feature that allows creators to sell a post instead of a tier. When it becomes available for me, I'll consider using it to allow people to get a single mod. This won’t affect you if you're a patron, but if you're not planning to stay here for long and don't like subscriptions, this will be ideal for you. This wont affect current tiers.

3. Full Access Plus didn't serve much purpose aside from supporting me. If you aren’t aware, I’ve classified the mods released from November 2023 to October 2024 as Year 1 mods. I’ve decided to move these mods into Full Access Plus. New mods will still be posted under Full Access as usual.

If you’ve been a patron for longer than 3 months, you can still request the older mods without issue by sending me a message. Requesting these mods is done the same way as Year 2, but you'll need to use the 'year-one-mods' channel on my Discord. If you cannot or do not wish to join the server, just send me a message here on Patreon, and I'll forward the links to you.

4. I’m increasing the price of both tiers by $1: $10 -> $11 and $15 -> $16. When I do this, you’ll get an email to notify you, and you won’t be charged the new price until February 2025. I hope this change won’t impact you too much. This small adjustment helps me continue making mods and maintaining the bot and organizing channels, to make your navigating better. I appreciate your understanding and continued support.

TL;DR:

• I’ve set up a Discord bot for requesting mod links using simple commands (e.g., ?december-2024). This keeps things organized. Joining Discord is recommended for easy access, but I can still send links via Patreon if needed.

• Buy individual posts instead of tiers. This won’t affect current patrons, but it’s a good option for those who don’t want a subscription.

• Full Access Plus will now exclusively include Year 1 mods (released from Nov 2023 to Oct 2024). New mods will still be under Full Access. If you’ve been a patron for longer than 3 months, this change won’t affect you, and you can still request the older mods.

• Price increase of $1 for both tiers. You’ll be notified, and the new price will apply in February 2025.
