2024-06-14 08:45:33 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure "obligatory chocolate" is a thing only in Japan. And they have "White Day" (March 14) as well. Which is why Tatsuya was telling Honoka to look forward to the gift in March. My side here only have "I like u" chocolates. Given by either party, there's no rule to say only girls can give, and there's no White Day.

2023-01-18 15:16:33 +0000 UTCHonoka is best girl and everyone in the show knows it too. The girls from the school competition put her at the same level as Miyuki giving the chocolates. Miyuki gives her some space to give Tatsuya her chocolates. In episode 5 on the roof both her and Miyuki were both clinging onto Tatsuya before the parasite attacked. Miyuki would probably be upset at anyone else clinging to him.
