Finally set aside some time to check this show out. The first episode hasn't quite reeled me in just yet, but I can see why the appeal to a lot of people is there. Considering Buddy Daddies ended, we needed another wholesome anime with a family-type setting... complete with kids and all (though, in this case, they're the MC's younger siblings). I'm always down to follow some more wholesome shows, especially after Oshi no Ko scarred me this week.

Some companies in Japan will get you to a place and set you up with housing that is above your means on purpose in order to trap you there so you can't quit and do something else. Social apartments were a recommendation as a cost effective way to help lessen your financial burden, help you learn the language, and adjust to living with other cultures. Living in a dorm is a nice way of putting it. Some places have a lot of Japanese residents while some have a few Japanese residents and a lot of mixed foreign residents from all over. It's a cool set up, definitely worth YouTubing if you're interested in learning more.

I had tried reading them before hand, but I'm autistic, and my brain just absolutely rejected the "backwards" right to left page flip and text. One day, I read one of my favorite book authors was releasing a manga from my favorite series of his, and that it would take place between two of his regular books with the story available no where else. That flipped the switch in my brain, suddenly my brain decided we were going to learn to read the manga, because we were not missing this story. Took me a few weeks of effort, but now I can read through manga with no problems.
