Nah the subs are fucky wucky like that sometimes, since the anime spans so long before Oda reveals the official ways of translating X terminology or names etc w/ official art w/ roman alphabet lettering instead of kanji

So basically all Human-Human series models are Human-Human DFs, but they can only be 1 each type etc, just like how Dog-Dog DFs would have tons of different canids in it, as well as Snake-Snake DFs here as well

Such as Marigold is Model King Cobra, and Sandersonia was Mondel Anaconda. Same 'Base' Fruit, different Model (Species/Breed) of snake. As for Luffy, it has been stated by Enel back in skypea, Luffy is a Paramecia(Paramythia). That category of fruit is basically anything that doesn't belong in Zoan (Animal Transformations) or Logia (Physical embodiment of elements). So Luffy, Robin, and Brook are all Paramecia, while Chopper is a Zoan.
