You were asking why the Dad's actor is so over the top. As I pointed out during his vignette in episode 3, he's modeling his acting off the main character of Slam Dunk, so he's acting like a Chunni. It's also why he'll blurt out random Slam Dunk quotes like "my left hand is only for support, my right hand shoots"

If it was her, wouldn't she look like her older self instead of her younger self? Unless she took over the body of her younger self like in the Lovely Runner. But then you have 2 time travelers with 2 different set of rules, one who traveled as himself to the past because his past self isn't even born yet. And then one who overrides her past self, because 2 of the same person can't exist in the same timeline. I don't like that idea, because then you could do all kinds of asspulls with time travel. But we'll see I guess. At least we know it's kinda going the Back to the Future route.

2025-03-02 22:34:08 +0000 UTCi just wasn't sure what kind of time traveling we are doing because there is also a theory where if you were to go back into the past then it would have always happened and your present is a result of you going into the past. Like the "accident" a band member had could have been Yoon Dong-jin practically shitting himself. I know now that's its not the case since the accident resulted in injury I believe they said later on in the show. It was just early series theories before more info is presented

2025-03-02 21:00:02 +0000 UTCOk so I understand that u are probably way ahead which is the reason I haven’t commented on the last couple of videos but let me clarify something that’s a reoccurring thing in kdramas @6:00 give or take a second… so I have seen a few shows in which the mother looses custody of the child and the father doesn’t allow contact for some reason, but it happens more often in wealthy families. As I understand there are a few cases like that in S.Korea in rl. I’m thinking that’s why Cheong Ah’s mother was driven away from her child. And I hear you, the bullying and the evil stepmother tropes get under my skin each time I think that’s why they do it to incite a reaction from us. And yes all actors including the male lead sang. Sometimes some of these actors/actress have been trained as idols then they change to acting and they like it more. Some are raw talent others are taught to sing etc either way is a country full of talented people. Thanks for the reaction n excuse the long info thread. Happy u chose it

The thing with time travel, I know by logic if someone travels from the future it means it already happend in the past, but his father comes from the original past where things happened how they were supposed to happen, like meeting Yoon Dong-jin and the band didn't work out if you remember. So him being here for the first time automatically can change things. Hope this helps :)
