2024-06-01 15:35:15 +0000 UTCIn full fairness, this is largely problematic due to established english translations for specific japanese words. In Japanese, Rimuru is a Maou, Diablo is a Daemon Lord. There's not even an ounce of similarity between the terms. However, since the established translations for "Maou" are "Demon King" and "Demon Lord" and in the context of Tensura the second one makes more sense, we suddenly have overlapping terminology when watching it in English.

It might seem like it’s not important now but these kinda evolution tiers are actually really important in comparing strength. I guess it can be all right as long as they use the same translation across everyone but I guess we’ll find out cause if not a lot of world building and comparing of characters just stops existing. Hopefully they don’t mess it up

He is the one that told Hinata that Rimuru killed Shizu. That is the lie he is referring to. He is also the one that tried to get Hinata out of Lubelious so Laplace could go sneaking around at the end of season 2. She was supposed to be meeting with him.
