Yeah, I found it wild how you were saying stuff like the Big Mom pirates need to kill Brûlée for being the weak point, since the reality is they aren’t all pragmatists like Big Mom who have no regard for family ties aside from how they can manipulate them. It’s why Mont’dor mostly trusted Opera about Luffy being dead early in the arc, and Katakuri loves his siblings and doesn’t kill Flampe. Of course with 85 children I don’t think they can all be quite that close, but many of them will have strong sibling bonds for sure, especially those closer in age. Katakuri has an especially strong urge to protect his siblings as the strongest, one of the oldest, and with his trauma with Brûlée. Of course, it makes sense you’d overlook that a bit and I can only say so much with hindsight (I’m not blaming you in the slightest), as they do often feel more like a pirate crew than a family. It’s like the dilemma of starting a business with family; You create the potential to either strain your family bonds or really handicap your business potential.

Whether or not the coming episode/chapters have alluded to that or not I’ll leave for you to find out. I love the pair so much and need to see Sanji get that memory back. I’m really glad you ship the both too!
