Ease pelvic tension with this stretch!

This is one of my yummiest stretches to mobilize the pelvic nerves and ease pelvic floor muscle tension. Try it with me!

This is one of my yummiest stretches to mobilize the pelvic nerves and ease pelvic floor muscle tension. Some you might recognize this as the "Frog" pose. Try it out and let me know what you think in the comments below .πŸ‘‡

Set Up:

β€’ Begin on all fours with your wrists under your shoulders and knees under your hips.

β€’ Slowly widen your knees, letting them slide out to the sides while keeping your ankles in line with your knees. Your toes can point outwards or stay flexed with the soles of your feet facing each other.

Ease In:

β€’ Lower yourself onto your forearms, keeping your chest lifted slightly.

β€’ Let your hips sink down toward the floor, finding a gentle stretch in your inner thighs and pelvic region.

Use a Bolster for Relaxation:

β€’ Place a bolster (or a stack of pillows) lengthwise on the mat in front of you.

β€’ Gently lower your chest onto the bolster, resting your head and arms on it for support. This modification allows your torso to relax fully while maintaining the stretch in your hips.

Breathe and Hold:

β€’ Take deep, slow breaths, focusing on releasing tension in your hips and pelvic floor.

β€’ Stay in the pose for 1–3 minutes, or as long as it feels comfortable, gradually deepening the stretch as your body relaxes.

Ease Out:

β€’ Press into your hands, slowly bringing your knees back under your hips.

β€’ Move into a comfortable seated or child’s pose to release any residual tension.

Remember: There’s no β€œperfect” frog poseβ€”listen to your body, and only go as far as feels good!

Should we try to ease our legs open more or just let it naturally open? I do a similar stretch for my upper back and shoulders and it naturally relaxes more. I don't need to do more damage down there than I already have.

Yikes, Patreon has been having issues with Vimeo links embedding on their platform. I linked the video in the description itself as an alternative. Please let me know if this works for your guys.
