Hey there, amazing members!

I’m excited to announce that the next tutorial you voted for is launching on January 27th: “How to Give Yourself a Pelvic Floor Massage!” 🎥✨

This video will take a deep dive into massaging the superficial pelvic floor muscles that connect to the penis and pelvis. These muscles are key players in sexual function and pleasure, but for some, they can also be areas of soreness or tenderness, especially for those dealing with persistent pelvic pain.

I’ll guide you through everything step by step, showing you how to explore and care for this important area with compassion, curiosity, and intention.

What You’ll Learn:

✔️ How to locate and identify the superficial pelvic floor muscles

✔️ Techniques to relieve soreness and promote relaxation

✔️ Ways this massage can improve sexual function and overall pelvic health

✔️ Tips to use this practice for both therapeutic and pleasurable purposes

Robert, what has been your experience with shockwave therapy? Thanks.

Ron Gaskins

This video is a live demonstration for educational purposes so we intentionally have the genitals and perineum visible during the demonstration. In the clinic, we always obtain extended consent for any physical assessment or treatment which includes what the person feels the most comfortable with—including draping. Our main priority is ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

I notice you are not draping the genital area in the photo. The genital draping was very important to me so I hope you explain.

I will be interested in knowing what I should be sensing, maybe as compared to the sensation of touching more accessible muscles in other parts of the body.

Thank you for sharing your story with us, Works! These upcoming tutorials will definitely equip you with the knowledge to locate and touch these muscles on yourself. I hope you find it resourceful.

When I was undergoing treatment on the perineal muscles I asked the therapist to help me locate the muscles so I could do it myself. I was never able to locate the muscles through touch, possibly because I didn't know what my fingers should be looking for. I was able to locate the muscles based on the sensations I'd had when the therapist was working them, but not via touch. Side note. At one point I asked the therapist to trace the ischiocavernosus muscle from end to end, but had to stop her as that was extremely triggering.

Of course! It's my pleasure.

Appreciate the thoughtfulness and thorough "show and tell" approach! I think we will all get a handle (pun intended) on our issues. Thank you!

Looking forward to learning so much more excellent educational content from you!

Awesome. My PFPT starts out my treatment with massage. Then goes into shockwave and internal manipulation. Vise versa. All is beneficial with my conditions, symptoms and concerns.
