You're welcome, Mario!

Wow what great information you just gave and in a simple way w/o getting to detailed!! Awesome video and the live demo on an actual person helped me understand the areas that you had mentioned early much better. Thank you for creating this space to openly talk and explain both verbally and physically what pelvic floor work truly is.

Marc, thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate your openness in sharing your experience—so many of us can relate to those fears, and you’re definitely not alone in that. It means a lot to know that my content is helping you feel more informed and supported. I believe that everyone deserves access to this kind of education without barriers, and I’m grateful to be part of your learning journey. Sending you lots of appreciation right back! 💜

Wow, this is truly fascinating. I have immense respect for that gentleman for maintaining his composure while you continuously demonstrated on him. Setting aside the fact that you are a very attractive woman, I must admit that, at 52 years old, I still refuse to undergo a physical due to that very fear. I actually have the opposite issue—it’s often difficult for me to achieve an erection at the right time, yet it seems to happen at the most inconvenient moments. Because of this, I avoid physicals and massages like the plague. That being said, when I say “you’re beautiful,” it is meant as a true compliment—not just about your appearance, but about everything you bring to the table. It is not some flippant or insincere remark. I subscribed to your channel to learn more about the issues I’m facing, and I must say, your knowledge is truly remarkable. I am incredibly grateful that you are willing to share your expertise in this way. Many doctors or highly intelligent professionals charge significant amounts of money for the kind of insight you provide so generously. Some individuals with an MD or PhD may not be as willing to educate others as you are, and that speaks volumes about your character. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. These five videos have been incredibly helpful, and I sincerely appreciate the time and effort you put into making this information accessible.

Great attitude. I have the same thoughts in supporting men and families dealing with prostate cancer. Somewhat of an evangelist in this respect.

Thanks so much, Robert!

You’re welcome, Guy! Yes, it does take courage to be a model while being recorded. Although he expressed nervousness during the filming, he reminded himself of all the men he could potentially support and help, which put his mind at ease. 😌

💯 Guy!

Sorry to hear this, Byron. Yes, hydroceles are tricky and testy. In my experience, surgical removal or draining is the primary treatment—although it is not fool proof because it may recur.

susie@drsusieg.com

Hey Guy, I believe I addressed most of this under your comment in the "Let's Catch Up" post above. Blood flow is regulated by a symphony of neurological, vascular, and chemical events that cause arteries in the penis to relax, as pressure increases, it naturally will compress against the veins and prevent back flow. The pelvic floor muscles assist in stabilizing the angle of an erection and with compression—they are part of the sequelae of events but not the main mechanism for blood flow events. I hope this clarifies things.

susie@drsusieg.com

You're very welcome, Rex! Also, don't sweat not knowing about the pelvic floor—most people don't until they have an issue that necessitates attention here in such a way. You are not alone. 😘

susie@drsusieg.com

Glad to hear it, Ron! I definitely laughed out loud when I read your comment about the bananas.

susie@drsusieg.com

I watched the video a second time and I certainly missed alot the first time. I am not sure why...but I have always thought the penis to be one of the body's muscles. The manner in which all the pelvic floor muscles connect is intriguing and adds a level of complexity that I did not appreciate before. The five "S's" was certainly informative. I must admit, I will have a very different perspective when eating bananas from now on.

Ron Gaskins

Great Info! Thought I knew something about the pelvic floor but I'm not as think as I smart I am. Thank You so much for that presentation Dr. G, Rex

After a series of tests; one of them being testing the quality of my semen. No testicle torsion. The Idea was that I would live with the pain rather than have surgery and cause more pain potentially or run the risk of affecting a fully functioning penis and sexual function.

Robert C.

How did u avoid surgery?

Byron

Yes it was a pelvic therapist

Byron

Thanks. I have Hydrocele and varicose seal for many years. I do not need to have surgery. Thanks for sharing

Robert C.

Amazing story. I still have yet to reply to another question you asked in the group on another thread. Thanks this just reminded me of that. Thanks

Robert C.

I'm curious now to see a video of how the ischeocarvenosa function as they flex and relax, how the blood flow is metered.

works

Is that a former pelvic therapist who was uncomfortable with touch? That would make me too uncomfortable to deal with the therapist. The therapist needs to be able to normalize the experience.

works

Great video. Learned more than from my actual former therapist who was comfortable talking but uncomfortable touching the anatomy. I have been dealing with a hydrocele that due to being unable to find a therapist i will likely have to have surgery...again for.

Byron

Great presentation. Lotsa information. I'll be going over the video again to correlate to my experience. Kudos to your model. I would not be able to get through that without being sedated. I would like to have a mind set where I could, but... I don't think I could have remained that relaxed even when I was on Lupron and castrate at age 74.

works

Informative... Appreciated. Keep the instruction al videos coming.

Ron Gaskins

Thank you! Interesting and very helpful.

Bill

Great job. Most informative break down I’ve seen. Better understanding of the muscles for Pee,Poop & ejaculation and in regards to the sponge parts of when the erection goes down and the blood is draining (I had issue with that). All the connections Hip,lower back etc. moving which I’ve had pain on and off- related. Thanks a-lot Dr. G & Team P.S: Great styling on your hair & makeup. Goes great with the blue blouse ;).
