🎧 Take Your Pelvic Floor for a Ride – The Elevator Exercise
Added 2025-06-14 12:07:02 +0000 UTCIf you’ve been told to “do your Kegels” but still feel confused, tight, or downright frustrated… you’re not alone. Pelvic floor training isn’t about clenching harder or holding longer. It’s about coordination, control, and yes, learning how to let go.
I’ve recorded a short guided audio practice walking you through a pelvic floor muscle coordination drill, often called the “elevator exercise.” It’s a breath-based, body-aware way to explore graded engagement and release of your pelvic floor muscles without the force.
This isn’t just for folks with pelvic pain or incontinence. It’s a foundational skill for better bladder control, sexual function, and even reducing pain that’s related to tension or guarding in the pelvic region.
Listen when you can be still for a few minutes, maybe lying down or seated. No squeezing contests here, just you tuning into your body with a bit more clarity. Let me know how this goes for you in the comments below. 👇

2025-06-14 15:38:24 +0000 UTCthat sounded like it would be real easy but found I have a definite lack of control. I only felt my anus until you said something about the base of the penis. had to focus hard to feel both. The massage sounds interesting, you mean using it during the exercise? will that help with awareness or for play or both?
