We’re talking butt cheeks, control, and gadgets you didn’t know you needed.
Here are your options:
1. How to use rectal-anal trainers (dilators)
2. Rectal exam for dyssynergic defecation & anal pain (aka when your butt’s not syncing up and it’s causing backdoor drama like constipation and pain)
3. Surface EMG biofeedback for pelvic floor training (Hey Alexa, teach my pelvic floor to chill.)
Cast your vote and let’s get educational and a little uncomfy together.
Stay tuned for your chosen demo to drop in August!

sEMG is different from TENS (transcutaneous electrical stimulation); I'll put TENS on the list for videos, we can use it for pain and for bladder urge relief. 😊

2025-06-23 15:25:41 +0000 UTCThat seems odd. The biofeedback that I've experienced isn't painful at all. It's just measuring. Are you sure your therapist wasn't using a TENS unit instead of biofeedback? I've had pain with some TENS settings.

2025-06-23 14:55:52 +0000 UTCI have done lots of tens treatments either with a therapist or on my own as I learned how to do it. I haven’t tried it on my pelvic floor though. Interested to see how I might add that to my pelvic floor tool box.

2025-06-23 13:40:23 +0000 UTCI've had a PFPT use the biofeedback with me, however, I don't think it was setup correctly; it was painful and I don't believe that it is supposed to be.
