I appreciate this fr, this is definitely one of my favorite Cole tracks ever and to see it broken down like this put a lot of shit into perspective.

Maybe Terrance meant that the song's lyrics are pretty straight forward as in it's not so much that its a complex song lyrically even though the bars are there its not quite as dense as say a Jay-Z or Kendrick where they go layered lines. That's ok though, brackets can be simple in nature and still be an incredible song lyrically which it is.
