I was not having a good time lmao!! lmao okay hear me out- I had the thought that he was her brother because of the scene where he says 'we don't choose our parents' and there's a weird look that clary gives him, which to me felt a little too long and then I just was like well does clary even actually have a brother? if so, I thought it was him maybe? even more so when he's talking to her about how she's lost everyone. but then he asked her out and I was like ABORT ABORT I was wrong 🤣 I'm so with you, I didn't like that advice Izzy gave Simon, not cool to use his 'weakness' that no one knows about against him! 🩶

But the fact they didn't kill Magnus only because Valentine wanted his body back is appalling. And what made you think Sebastian is Clary's brother? I had to laugh when he asked her out and you were like "I guess he's not." So funny :D I must say that however dubious Sebastian might be right now he's giving out excellent advice all around. Which brings me to Izzy. Using Rafael's sister like that, particularly when Rafael told Izzy that he never told anyone about his little sister... that was a low blow. Whatever Raphael wanted from Simon he went directly to him, he didn't threatened his family. Honestly, I'm on Raphael's side with this one.

He played magnus so well. i always loved the scene of Sebastian yelling at clary it was so unhinged but also alec in the back being all concerned was cute and we now have jace on his fourth last name…truly an identity crisis next episode is one that i feel deals with some very important realities and it’s all very interesting to see play out (though i can’t promise you will be having a super happy time🤣)

2023-06-15 10:04:24 +0000 UTCThis episode was so stressful, I remember how scared I was for magnus this whole thing. While Alec is my favorite I was a little upset with how long it took him to realize it was actually magnus. Plus side though, I like that we can see Alec and Clary's relationship growing as he was making sure that she was protected from Sebastian during that whole speech outside of Magnus's.
