Young Royals 3x1 REACTION; things are going downhill.

Simon and Wille are so cute in school, just kissing in front of everyone, although everyone is staring and making things uncomfy. due to Wille admitting it was him in the video, an unnamed student has released details of the initiations that happen at the school to the media and now we have a new principal who is cracking down, taking their phones and implementing a curfew. Sara has gone to stay with her dad which probably won't end well. and Simon is being hounded by the paparazzi and mean people on the internet. I really don't want him getting involved and answering comments and stuff, but I do understand not wanting bad things circulating about you. I'm just happy that him and Wille are in a really good place at the moment. although-i'm terrified for it to all go to shit. THE HEART HE IS RETRACING TO KEEP IT ON HIS HAND. PLEASE HELP ME 😭

Some of the Simon hate goes along the lines of, he should be grateful that Wille chose him, he wanted their relationship to be public (he didn't) so what did he expect. He's acting stupid; he should know what to expect being the boyfriend of a prince and adjust his behaviour accordingly. He's being selfish, Wille's problems are bigger and he needs him. Some of it I think is projection. Because Wille 'only' has Simon as support, Simon should now BE that support and they should have a smooth relationship now. Perhaps also the lasting impression everyone had of the show 16 months ago was Wille's grand romantic gesture of telling the world that he loves Simon. So more gratitude is expected of Simon. I think some people forgot who Simon was as a person, and that that person is who Wille fell in love with.

One of the reasons I appreciate Ryann's reactions and this llittle group so much is that we all SEE Simon, and give him the love, adoration, and respect he deserves. He is amazing , loving, and so brave, (and adorable), and I've never doubted his love for Wille for a second. Those who have an issue with him I assume are royalists, Wille solo stans, or they don't watch the show as closely as they should. It doesn't matter, bc there are a million of Simon supporters in the world who do appreciate him, and Omar knows that :)

2024-04-29 13:19:57 +0000 UTCoh god, I'm going to get a stress rash lmao you're so right! simon is really in Wille's shoes now with the attention and I totally agree, easier said than done to ignore it so I'm not really that peeved that he didn't, I just know it's not going to help us 😭 yes, I do think it's going to bring an interesting dynamic to this season with Wille trying to do everything that the royal court really wants him to so that august doesn't get to take over. I feel like there are going to be rough moments there and disagreements which I'm worried about and fearing deeply. yes!!! Wille needed her to hug him and care for him and she never did, it tugged on my heart seeing him hold her in the way she didn't do for him. 🩶

LMAO love the skipping past august 🤣 yeah, I know she's trying to do what he wants but like you said, that was just lashing out on his part, he never meant for her to actually leave, I'm worried about what's going to happen 🩶

But the dad seems to be ok, at least ok enough to check on his wife every second of every day. It would be awesome if he showed that much caring to his child. Sorry rant over. The vile things people are saying about Simon are horrible. I get why he can't ignore them but internet trolls are going to internet troll. It's something Wille is used to but Simon hasn't steeled his heart like Wille has had to. What to say about August...ANYWAY, it was interesting that Sara went to her dad but Simon told her to leave. I don't think he meant it , he was just angry, but she took it that way.

2024-04-28 05:40:56 +0000 UTCcant believe u are already at the last season! definitely prepare for the typical high stress that young royals always delivers lol. as much as we wanna be like "simon just ignore the comments, they don't matter", its really hard to ignore them when ur 16 and now have so many people having an opinion about u. simon has always been one to be outspoken about who he is and what he stands for, but now the attention he has is on a whole other level. i think what is really interesting is that for the past 2 seasons, simon and wille seemed to often to be along the lines of "imagine being in my shoes" with each other. now simon is, in a way, going to be in wille's shoes in terms of public attention. it is so nice to see wille and simon so couple-y. the smiles. the kisses. the handholding. simon calling wille's room "cozy", which is what wille said about simon's room in s1. wille tracing the heart and staring at the polaroid of them for hours. he is so in love with simon! as we see in this episode, wille is fully in his crown prince role as opposed to s2. s2 wille was very rebellious, constantly challenging the royal court and not accepting of his role. he was very willing to give up his role and give it to august because he hates the royal life that much. however, as we know in this ep, wille's circumstances have changed. after the stuff august pulled in the s2 finale, wille is absolutely done with august. and as we see him say at the table in the beginning, this means that there is no way he is letting august take over cause that just means he gets rewarded and becomes a part of his family. given the fact that the royal court said in s2 that if they don't deem wille to fit this role, that they will give it to august, this means that wille has to be on his "best behavior". challenging the royal court in the way that he did in s2 just may not work anymore for him. the queen's mental health is definitely taking a dive as we see her in this ep breakdown and grieve erik. it makes sense. that family did not get to grieve the loss of erik properly given their "royal duties" and now that grief has caught up to her. what broke my heart though, is that wille saw the queen break down and immediaetly went to comfort her and helped by telling her to "breathe" and holding her. yet...wille has dealt with so many anxiety, panic attacks, break downs in the past 2 seasons, and his mother never did anything. i mean, she literally called him a threat and tried to take him out of his school after his breakdown in s2 ep 2. it is so devastating to see this young boy care so much for his mother who does not put the same amount of care towards him.
