I think Damo you have a misconception that "Greatest College Player Ever" = "Greatest Pro Athlete To Also Play College Sports"....Just like Tim Tebow, Christian Laettner's College Career has nothing to with his Pro Career and everything to do with their accomplishments at the College Level....This is why Laettner is arguably considered the Greatest College Basketball Player Ever

2023-11-12 01:38:30 +0000 UTCThank you for watching this; I'm glad you found it compelling. As a lifelong Michigander and University of Michigan alum, this story obviously impacts me a lot. I remember vividly watching the Fab Five play as an 8/9 year old boy with my dad; it was one of the earliest sports memories of my life that stuck with me. These guys just were rockstars and I wanted to be the next Jalen Rose when I was young. Their story may not have had a traditional happy ending, but I like how Rose summarized it. In the end they will be remembered for far longer than even the teams who won the titles against them. When Michigan recently made the NCAA Finals again in 2013 and 2018 a lot of the Fab Five members came back to watch and support the team. Hopefully we'll win another one in the near future!
