He did fantastic against the weaker droids, but all the warnings in the world couldn't stop that ego of his from walking right into the fight he was destined to lose. But knowing him, it's only a matter of time before he bounces right back. He has a knack for slamming himself into a wall over and over until the wall gives.

2023-01-02 17:28:43 +0000 UTCDespite Trunk's claim to the contrary, in the manga, Piccolo estimated that Vegeta's SSJ form was stronger than Goku's. Piccolo isn't the kind of guy to make mistakes about that sort of thing, so it's probably true. Right now, Vegeta is the strongest of the protagonists. So if Vegeta couldn't beat the Androids, having Goku there would probably make no difference. In some ways, it's fortunate quirk of fate that he got the heart virus because if he'd been there, he would have died.
