2023-10-03 21:36:32 +0000 UTCWhat they didnβt mention is that Machamp was holding back. The belt a Machamp wears isnt just for decoration, its a Power-save belt. Its purpose is to limit a Machamps power. Even its previous form, Machoke, is so powerful it has to willingly limit itself just so it can regulate its own body motions. Machoke is described in the Pokedex entires as having βboundless powerβ and that if the belt is ever removed, it would become βunstoppableβ. It is also stated to only take the belt off when it faces an opponent who is βtruly mightyβ. When a pokemon evolves it becomes even stronger than its previous form, and since Machamp is still wearing the belt that means that its still limiting its power. Which means Goro wasnt even a worthy enough opponent for Machamp to go all out against.

2023-10-02 08:44:05 +0000 UTCPokemon are essentially powered by a mild form of toon force. But toon force is toon force, so I knew Machamp had this one in the bag. I'm pretty sure even a 10 year old child from the Pokeverse could outmuscle Goro.
