I really wish we got to understand more about the Black Rose. It's such a cool visual concept but not a lot of details are shared about them. Ambessa still doesn't let up on Mel. No matter how powerful Mel becomes, Ambessa sees her kindness and compassion as weakeness that will ultimately fail her family's interests and her need for revenge on the Black Rose. What a heavy burden for Mel to carry as she tries to understand who she is and who she must be as she comes into her own... Viktor allying with Ambessa is really a devil's deal, and definitely that line was crossed, lol. Farewell, Vander. It's almost scarier with Viktor. Ambessa is blatantly ambitious and power-hungry. Viktor's insatiable need is wrapped in the veneer of benevolence, soft-spoken and "for the evolution of the race." Jinx is in a new place. She didn't go back to her psychotic state, she's very cogent -- but really wrestling with the full grasp of her inability to ultimately change. She's beyond hope in a sense, she's accepting the reality of who she is and what she's done. (re: her words to Caitlyn -- "I didn't know your mom was there... although it probably wouldn't have made a difference." It's the only apology she can muster, because to actually say she is sorry when she keeps causing harm or everything around her goes awful one MORE time would just sound like a sad sorry lie. And the incessant hope aka lies is agonizing to live through.) But Vi is still playing the game -- going after her time and again, offering one chance after another for redemption. Jinx is tired of it. They're both trapped in this endless pattern. Somehow she's going to break the whee -- err, cycle. Really sweet moment with Vi and Cait. They both deserve it. I really loved seeing upper and lower city come together. Not everyone, of course. But both sides are aware it's a compromise after all the bad blood and respect each other's willingness and courage to fight together.

hmm. We had this issue with Castlevania. For awhile we thought it was a Netflix thing but TLOK is on that too. 🤔

Ah "The Line" such a great song! Both on its own and here for when Viktor crosses the line. Another interpretation I've heard is that the lyrics tell of Vander finally crossing over the threshold. Hopefully he can finally find peace and not suffer constantly. I absolutely love Vander/Warwick.

Yeah same, I have to now and again pause to sync.

The song you guys liked at the end of the episode was "The Line" by Twenty One Pilots. The music video is out now but I definitely recommend waiting to see it until after you watch the last episode. It really is a great song! Fun fact: that scene between Vi and Cait was originally going to be longer. O.O Ambessa is a true Noxian, they are conquerors through and through. There is a really cool music video about her life sung by her voice actor (I don't remember if you guys have reacted to it yet or not) and now that she is a playable character in the game she has a lore page if you want to check that out for some more insight on her. My heart breaks for Jinx. For a moment she had Vi, Vander, AND Isha and it was almost as if she could be happy again. But Vander's fate was sealed the second Victor touched him and the final nail in the coffin was Victor beginning his "glorious evolution". Jinx just really needs a big hug! I'm going to be bringing the popcorn to your reaction of the finale, no matter how many times I see that episode, it is still epic! Oh, side note: for some reason I have trouble syncing with your Arcane reactions. It doesn't have with your LOK reactions, only Arcane for some weird reason. Is it just a me thing or are other people having this issue too?
