2025-02-26 05:28:23 +0000 UTCAs the game has gone on, the power creep has gotten ridiculous. And older characters struggle to keep up. Acheron (sword girl who goes black and white), Fei Xiao (the wolf girl who impressed you guys), Herta (the mirror lady) and Rappa (colourful ninja with the baseball cap) are *stupidly* strong, and do stupidly high damage compared to almost everyone else, even with a mediocre build. While the later healers, like Lingsha (the girl with the pet rabbit), make the older healer characters redundant. There are a couple of characters that manage to keep up with the power creep. But a lot of the older five stars don't really mean much now. Who's going to bring a Dr Ratio to a fight when you could bring a Rappa? That's why you saw several different versions of the main character; she keeps getting upgrades so that she can keep up and continue being useful (her newest form is an extremely powerful buffer that's very useful in any team).

Her name is Himeko and her other versions in Genshin and Honkai Impact 3rd are also my favorite. Hoyoverse has this thing where theyβll bring a character from a previous game and reuse their design with some tweaks here and there. This Himeko in Star Rail is inspired by her Honkai Impact 3rd counterpart who is pretty much the original for longtime fans of the company. And we just recently got the counterpart in Genshin not too long ago. Youβll know who it is once you see them.
