@sake鮭 Fair use is a pretty grey area for reaction channels, and there are plenty of reaction channels that show whole episodes or movies unedited, whether here on patreon or youtube or twitch.

HxH is one of those prime targets for strikes in the reaction community, I don't think I've heard of a reaction channel that HASN'T run into trouble with it. Maybe having post episode thoughts for early access/YT then timer for full length would work? Sucks though.

Even if you could get the ball rolling, the chance of a shitload of work getting taken down any minute would suck; be it during or afterwards. Though, I believe you and other creators of similar content have always had a part of them be ready for this type of stuff get tossed in the cogs at any given moment. One day these guys will learn what fair use means, and that no one is consuming their shows cut-down into few second long pieces at 50% opacity on Youtube.

VIZ Media LLC and Aniplex of America Inc appear to be the two that cracking down at the moment.

@GraffitiTurtle so while that has been seemingly the absolute safest route possible for a while now, BlindWave just posted today on their patreon that HxH, as well as Naruto, have been getting CR struck on their OWN website hosting the video. They said they're trying to get it sorted, but if they are getting hit on their own website, then that's pretty concerning. VIZ media is cracking down hard

Oh yeah I saw this two weeks ago on another channel I watch. His Patreon was suspended and it was all sorts of messed up and he's near the end of HxH. If you want I can give you a link to his videos about it.

No such issues with viewing the 1999 version of HxH. It's a recommendation that I think should be considered

you could also upload your reaction to another site then put the link to that reaction in the description of your videos, that works for some reactors apparently. Tho I heard you wanted to avoid doing that if possible, so idk

Update - Heard some concerning news about HXH, Blind Wave and another 70k+ sub channel had to delete their HXH vids because of a recent crackdown. Damn, this might change some things.

Crazy how FMAB is almost over, it’s gonna be weird not seeing you post about it anymore lol. Happy to see that you do plan on doing some Bridging the Rift content, hope that ends up becoming a reality. Looking forward to BCS as well, I never finished it but I’ve heard and seen some great things. Ik a lot people have been impatient about AoT, and even tho some of those people really need to chill, it’s just because they love your other AoT videos so much that they get too excited. I hope you don’t feel too pressured about it, the last thing anybody wants is for you to stop enjoying it. And last but not least… the next anime. Honestly I haven’t got high hopes for Monster beating out something like HxH in a poll, but this community surprised me before, so maybe..? But regardless of whatever anime ends up winning, your videos will be great, so I’m not particularly worried lol. See ya in April ✌️

AoT, Vinland and potentially Monster all in April would be the golden timeline. I still haven't gotten around to watching TLOU so I might watch it alongside you and pace myself instead of binging it. And the return of HOTD is gonna be great too. I really liked the first season of that last year!

I’ve been watching your Eva reactions here and there but I’m way behind on Vinland. You have some great shows in the works right now! I suggest looking into Severance a bit if you can. It’s literally perfect for the type of breakdowns you do, like how Dark was.

Soo much awesome stuff ahead for you! Can’t believe we are nearing the ending of FMAB but I’m soo genuinely excited for you to watch one of the most satisfying ending out there. Also can’t contain my excitement for you to watch the AOT special! I’m happy to wait as long as needed as I know you’ll give it it’s time that it deserves. Oh and of course Vinland Saga’s second half! (Probably what I’m most excited for) If you thought it was a masterpiece already than you haven’t seen anything yet! A new trailer just dropped for the second cour and I can barely contain myself as it looks soo good!! We are truly blessed with this animation team. The new upcoming poll is certainly going to be a doozy. Really holding out for a Monster win here, although I would be pretty happy with a HxH win too. But you may be aware that HxH in particular is getting targeted recently with copyright strikes here on Patreon. So much so that LM Reactions had to rename their videos on it on here and a number of reactors have deleted/removed their HxH reactions. Something for you to take note on.
