A faint aroma of roses is perveyed to you by the chill winter wind. Deep in the bowels of the valley, you uncover a peculiar sight. Blood red flowers bloom through the snow, covering the whitened roots of great trees in ruby coloured blotches. Confused swarms of butterflies linger in the cold air. A great battle was fought here long ago. Countless died amidst the broken banners and the shattered swords. The soil of these fields was forever fertilized by the blood of the fallen.
