Look, I'm gonna be real with you, I'm fucking exhausted. Today we spent all day, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 AM working on the house. Specifically, working UNDER the house. We got our utility pole set up, we assembled a 1600 ft. conduit for our electric wires, moved like 20 cinderblocks, and we dug a trench in wet, cold mud. Mud so wet, cold, and thick that I sunk up to my knees and got stuck. I legit pulled a muscle trying to get my legs out of the mud, and ended up having to abandon my boots and crawl out barefoot through chest-high mud. Like holy shit, if I don't get sick tomorrow then I have the strongest immune system ever. Barefoot in 40 degree weather through mud, water and gravel. It was awful. And it wasn't just me either; we hired someone to use their construction equipment to dig out another trench for a powerline, and the treads to their vehicle sunk so far down that they straight-up abandoned it by the end of the day. It's still there in the mud. They'll come back out tomorrow with another machine to try and get it. First time that's ever happened, they said.
I think our land is cursed.
At the very least, we made significant progress. The hardest stuff is done. I'm so fucking exhausted though, I'm going to be at 8:30. Fucking GOODNIGHT. See you on Friday!

Yes. The construction guy did manage to get them out of the mud, but he lost his construction vehicle in the process!
