Welcome to November!

October was a great month: We made our way through a lot of our Monsters and Maidens series and had an awesome time with #Inktober. Annie and I also had the best Illuxcon we've ever had and it was great to see so many of you there!

So with Halloween behind us, what's next? For November we will be diving into a new series of monsters for the Holiday and Christmas season. There will be no reindeer or elves, and instead will be focusing on different aspect of the season: THE FEAST! :)

I will be sharing all the ideas and designs with you guys first on here before sharing them with the rest of the world. As with the other series, I will be conducting a poll later this month with my current sketches to determine which monsters to do first!

For the Classic Fantasy Art Series: This month we are continuing our journey into traditional media with an oil painting of a sea serpent battle. More on that soon!

We're also closing in on the Plague of Dragons 2019 Sketchbook! I will be sharing more drawings this month from the book leading up to the launch later this year.

Art of the Carolinas Event: November 15-17 I will be in Raleigh, North Carolina to do demos with Annie at the Art of the Carolinas event, sponsored by Jerrysartarama. If you guys are going to be in the area stop by and say hi and try out some new art materials!

For our Tutorial this month: It's a wild card! My current plan is to focus it around the oil painting I'll be working on this month, but it may also be on painting a monster made of slime, and one taking a deeper dive into drawing techniques. So it could go either way!
