Added 2021-04-30 03:52:26 +0000 UTCLine art is basically done! Trying to bear down less while drafting; I think too much pressure is one my weaknesses and every time I try to train myself out of it, I wind up falling back into the habit. Oops!
Might have to cut the extra 'panels' in order to give this the time it deserves. I'd like to get into a better habit of getting finished work to ya'll earlier.

It kind of depends on the situation and what is going to be the focus of the image, though on average I most often start with the head. The head leads the body and defines its posture (most of the time) so for me it usually makes sense to figure out which way the face is looking and work out from there. This will either involve roughing in the shape of the limbs or drawing a simple wire frame to define limb length and the location of joints depending on how confident I feel with the pose.
