Akame Ga Kill: Esdeath Max!

I haven't seen Akame Ga Kill, but I'll admit Esdeath certainly has a striking design! A quick skim of the wiki makes it sound like she's one of those "Only the strong survive" villains. Well, now she can have a physique that matches that philosophy, I suppose. XD
After a rocky start, this project wound up being a lot of fun. It was an entertaining challenge balancing the bulkier physique I wanted to experiment with against her base character design and preferred weapon. I did have to slim her down slightly over what I originally envisioned, but I personally think the end product benefitted from the restraint. I'm especially happy with this one.

I’ve never seen the anime nor do I know anything about the character, but I seen her a lot through tons of fan art like I said, I know nothing about her, but you did a great job drawing her and making her look powerful. I’m glad you went for a bulky design and I absolutely love how you sculpted her legs. They look like freaking Cannons lol

2024-11-02 20:26:01 +0000 UTCAwesome job here! Defeats looks awesome here and is fittingly strong and beefy to fit her ideology. My guess is that Esdeath stayed on that island with Tatsumi and went through a timeskip training and bulked up from the danger beasts altered by Stylish' experiments and fruits there. While admittedly I would’ve made her bust bigger, I still think this was a stellar Max piece. And here’s hoping you do the rest of the Akame Ga Kill cast eventually.
