Intros and reviews are long : in intro, I had to tell you that I saw things during the editing of the last episodes and I have new theories just based on Dr Jaeger saying that Eren would see "their" memories (yes, 5 minutes just for a "their") ; in review, I had to explain to you why Armin made me cry that much during this episode because it reminded me something personal. I'm not sorry, let's be honest.
Ok, Armin is paralyzed during moments of action, and ok he can seem to be a coward, but he's not. His loyalty to his friends and the fact that he's speaking with his heart, it's his best qualities and in fact the qualities that I cherish the most in people, so Armin, you got my heart here, totally, entirely. Pixies convinced, I'm glad, and even more because I feel that I can appreciate this eccentric character.

Whenever they say such things I can only imagine the whole of the Attack On Titan fandom rising up in arms to defend our brave boy :D I feel like you would be one of them. Obviously I won't let you know the answers to any of your questions, just like with a friend I have who is watching the series right now and constantly posing questions, I'll just keep saying "oh.. that's a good question.." with a poker face, much to their frustration XD Thanks for the reaction!

2021-11-16 00:06:40 +0000 UTCArmin made me cry so much here, I didn't expect his actions to get me so much, but as I explained in the review, it's also a battle I had to do against myself (and still has sometimes), so it touched me directly into the heart. And I know which episode of ATLA you talk about, and if you remember, I loved it a lot also, I defended Sokka a lot and I was mad at everyone saying bad stuff to him, but I didn't think back then that it was maybe because it spoke to my personal issues. I see it more now.

2021-11-15 10:35:01 +0000 UTCThis was the episode that really endeared Armin to me as a character. Largely for the same reasons you cried over. Having to go through self-esteem issues and eventually finding your worth is always an intense experience, but it also makes it easier to relate to characters going through the same issues. And even if the set-up was really obvious, it's always an emotional moment when they reach that part. This reminds me of the AtLA episode, Sokka's Master, when Piandao was presenting Sokka's sword to him. That moment still sends chills down my spine. And Armin's speech and final salute was the main reason I really loved this episode. This show really excels in bringing out the humanity of its characters, flaws and all. Also, I'm seeing that your theories are getting more complex. Can't wait until the show gives you more information that will definitely make your theories more complicated. :)
