I really liked the little "hat tip" to the Wizard of Oz (at least that's what I interpreted). There was the scarecrow, the doggo made me think of the cowardly lion, and then Howl may have been the tin man (one without a heart). Also, the Witch of the Waste (instead of West). Did you notice any other things like that?
Sophie is an amazing heroine. I love that her strength comes from her positivity, compassion and perseverance. She's not some girl boss, kicking and punching her through her problems, running circles around her male counterparts. Not that there's anything wrong with a character like that, but I can relate more to Sophie and actually aspire to be like her. Although I doubt I could ever be that sweet and wholesome X3
As Cherry asked me (after the video ended), I will now ask you: "Do you prefer blonde or brunette Howl?" (or maybe ginger Howl?)
For me, I would have to say that I like him more with dark hair. With blonde, he looks more fantastical and wizardous (that's not a real word), but with his dark hair... that feels the man you want to spend the rest of your life with!
