Help me name this character

I'm working on a new EiAD storyline, and I'm struggling to come up with a name for a character. The superhero on the left is Miss Starr. In the opening scene, she's thwarting an older male villain (who appears on the left).

Does anyone want to offer a name?

Help me name this character

Maybe "The Stand-up Philosopher"? A bit of an obscure reference though.

Ed Smallwood

I like Mr. and Miss Styry (kinda like mystery

Dave Crowley

He looks vaguely like The Comedian from "Watchmen." Maybe 'The Monologist'...

Mr. Nobody

Tying this to a previous suggestion, where he has a fair amount of strategic acumen, perhaps "General Tactix"

Kurt Hanna

the Grey Tiger , Mr V for Viagra

Jere

Which left? The left left, or the other left?

Ed Smallwood

The Stache. In honor of his Mustache.

douglas dean whiddon

Grey Wolf

How about "The Silver Fox" as a reference to his ability to seduce as an older gentleman and that his target is always silver items to steal.

Christopher Agnew

"Hard Corps" (Hardcore but like Marine Corps). Failing that, I'll go for the pun with "General Destruction". Third offering: "Major Steele", with or without the ending "e".

Ernie Dude

Grim Shaw, because that’s the first thing that came to mind.

John Delaney

Boss Nova

Wfmtck

He gives me a Ruskie vibe; something like Commandant Cosmonaut sits nicely with me.

Michael Obert

The Masterroid to keep the stellar theme.

Kyle Voltti

The Patriarch.

DC

Phil. Just Phil. Why? All the neat names were already taken

Robert McGann

Looks a little like Stalin or Lenin. How about Iron Curtain?

Doesn't have to be Military... In this pose he looks dominant, quiet, intelligent. Since he is a villain, he also probably thinks he is better then every one else. He is a Master of some sort. Since all we know is that he is getting thwarted, his Master Plan obviously did not go well. So for a Irony... maybe Master Planner or Plan Master (unless that is too close to taskmaster). Knowing if he has any special abilities would help... but I am assuming he does not. Ooooo… Instead of Plan,.. Method. Method Master! Sounds better and all kinds of possible innuendo jokes available.

Les Nines

Major Payne-Diaz? General Payne-Diaz? (goes back to CarTalk days...)

Great Scott

I agree with the military description, but more land-based (major, colonel, general) as opposed to water-based (commander, captain, commodore, admiral).

Great Scott

Major Erection? General Priapism?

Aaron W. Smith

He definitely looks military, so a rank, General, Major, Colonel, - then most comic book characters are either a double entendre (NOT ALWAYS SEXUAL) or pun, Colonel (kernel) loans itself to Corn and Maize jokes, and Maize could be a double meaning. The amazing Colonel Maize! nah, too corny. How about General or Major, and lots of words can be modified b y them as relative adverbs/adjectives. She is a Star, he could be "Major Planet". Depends upon how he defeats her, of course. or her powers. She has Light, Heat, Gravity, Magnetism, Solar Wind, Sun spots, Neutrinos (although those never hurt anyone). General Confusion? Major Confusion? General Disorder? Major Icestorm? Major Coldfront? Sorry, without knowing more about the story, thats all I can come up with!

Aaron W. Smith

Event Horizon

Eric Schooley

not havng a power set to work from makes it difficult. He looks like a strong & sturdy kind of guy, suggesting 'Brik' Wall, and a power set of being either super dense and hard to move, or the ability to put up a visible force-field

Rene Gobeyn

General 'Cuss' Grimwald

Peter Eduard

A fishing based villain named Master Baiter!

Bill O'Connor

Sergeant Pepper

Smith

He looks a bit military to me so how about Major something? It would also give scope for a pun, depending on his power set.

Ian McDowall

Boomer

Hehe

Troy Potter

Dad Joke

Troy Potter

"Schio". Because then, the EiAD will be "Miss Starr Schioed"

James C

The Mustache Rider. If he was a good guy make him a Ghost Rider spoof without the skull. Unless he keeps the stache when in skull form.

Damian Paradis

Ah. I was hoping that the woman would have a name like the one you gave Knight Walker. Something like "Star Paster". As for the guy, how about "The Curmudgeon". It would go with Rick Greene's theme and the "Hey kid! Get off my lawn!" cliches.

Robert

Not bad at all! I like the way you think!

Brad Guigar

What kills stars? Black holes--or "singularities." "Singularity"

Chad Lehman

I like the name "Greyhound". Including Grey which coincidently denotes his age, and Hound to suggest he's a bit of a dog with the ladies. Maybe something like "The Granite Greyhound".

Caleb Davis

Looks like JJ Jameson had been hitting the roids...

Jeremy

Reminds me of Marc Maron - "Stand-Up" Also applies as a "Stand-Up Guy" in mob parlance.

Bradford D Tree

Well... as usual... I've gone from having none to an embarrassment of riches! Keep 'em coming!

Brad Guigar

I like that as a character trait. Plus I can write most of it pretty naturally. :)

Brad Guigar

The Terrible Toupė

Andrew

The Phantom ‘Stache?

Benny Yenson

Maurader

Eric Schooley

The villain looks Russian to me, I would go with "The Bolshevik". A old school villain from the cold war, a counter point to the patriotic hero.

Snidely Tashe

Paul Baker

Gray Nolson a callback to Omniman from Invincible

Guy Serle

Somehow my brain is saying "The Adage", and he tends to speak in old adages and cliches, especially ones that don't make sense or are useless in the current context, thus causing confusion in his opponents. Think Sam Elliot saying Yogi Berra things with a smattering of old-timey (aka gold rush era) half-crazy miner and old farmhand type stuff.

Rick Greene

'The Duke'

William Kelly

I look at the girl and think Miss commando. I'm pretty sure she doesn't wear underwear

Dewayne Williams

Brigadier Kernel Colon Scott

John Ross

How about "Bob". Playoff the ordinariness of the nomme de villain. "It's Bob!" "Bob? We're doomed!" Or, given the nature of the strips, how about The Panty-Dropper?

Clell Harmon

I’m thinking Samson Elliot aka The Cowboy

Boomháuer

The power set is open to interpretation, but I kinda don't see him as a cape-and-spandex type, if it helps...

Brad Guigar

Without knowing his power set, first thing I got is "The 'stache".
