Half Pint Tavern Battlemap - Launch

Lets be fair, taverns are a main stay of starting adventures, and a good place for adventurers to stop for the night and take the weight off their tired feet. As much as its fun to have a bar brawl, there are lots of scenarios that can play out in and around a tavern.

This is the Half Pint Tavern, a small roadside tavern nestled amongst wooded hills. Its an old stone and thatched halfling owned establishment with a horse paddock to the side. The cosy interior is always warm in winter and cool in the summer. The beer is rich and floral, the pies renowned throughout the region.

Some scenarios you could run in and around the tavern:

This one is a large 30x30 map. As well as a day and night version you also get a roof asset to fit on top if you are a Delver Patron.

If you aren't currently a Patron you can sign up to get access to this release and all my other maps. Take a look at the info to the right to learn how!

I create a PDF with descriptions and ideas for my current maps, they are in the Zip files of all the downloads. However, that came a little way into my map creation. My first set of maps don't have PDFs as I was working out how to supply content to my patrons. I don't actually remember when exactly I started making up PDFs, but I've been doing it for a few years now.

I, too, was confused about where to find the maps. It seems you post the maps in one place, and then the "scenarios you could run in and around the tavern" in another place. From a DM point of view - the less clicking and navigating I can do the better, especially when trying to throw together an encounter quickly. Any thoughts on combining the "Scenarios ideas" and "Maps" together on 1 posting to make searching and using them easier? Or I just a noob who needs some school'n? School me, please.

I, too, am missing a 2nd-floor residence for the taverner and his family. I'm here looking through your other maps for something I can cobble together, hopefully. If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate it. I'm quite handy with Photoshop! Ah—maybe I can swipe the back-half of the Old Ale House.

Hi Bob, thanks for signing up. There is a map list at the top of the Patreon page, this is I think the first or second map on the list :). This map unfortunately does not have a second level.

I am a patron, how to I find this map and the different versions. Is there an upper floor for it?
