[FMMIKA] Chapter 272: Chaldea vs Anti-Chaldea

"Hiks, my most important thing got snatched by Ritsuka-chan..."

A few minutes later, the bombardment finally came to an end.

Mash, catching her breath after the bombardment, plopped down on the ground. Her forehead was beaded with sweat, and her hair was caked with dust, making her look quite disheveled.

However, compared to Mash, Marie appeared to be in a more pitiable state. After the bombardment ceased, she sat on the ground, whimpering and weeping, seeming rather aggrieved.

Marie in such a state, coupled with Ritsuka smirking nearby, gave off the impression of a rogue taking advantage of the chaos.

Both Chaldea and Anti-Chaldea shared this sentiment.

On both sides, they first thought about how unfortunate Marie was, and how wicked Ritsuka was. Marie's humiliation and Ritsuka's misconduct.

However, they had to continue the battle, regardless of their thoughts.

Carmilla, d'Eon, and Jalter advanced and surrounded Ritsuka's group from three different directions.

d'Eon, brandishing a sword like a knight of justice, Carmilla's menacing glare and wicked smile reminiscent of an evil female commander, and Jalter, who immediately locked eyes with her so-called 'sister', Jeanne.

Although Jeanne tried her best to appear unfazed, the shock she felt was evident, even surpassing that of Elizabeth. The woman who stood before her had a similar figure and appearance but with a paler complexion. She was dressed in black armor and exuded the aura of a troublemaker.

"You..."

Jeanne was surprised and taken aback, instinctively wanting to inquire to her black version something like "Who are you?", "Where are you from?", or "What do you intend to do?".

However, before she could ask, someone more impatient than both of them spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Ahh! It's you!"

From the Chaldea side, it was the dragoness, Elizabeth Bathory.

"You!"

From the Anti-Chaldea side, it was the Vampire Countess, Carmilla.

Carmilla's face darkened instantly upon seeing Elizabeth, dressed as if she were an idol.

"So, it's you, little brat."

After uttering that, Carmilla attacked Elizabeth without hesitation, swinging her long whip toward Elizabeth. The latter immediately defended herself with a microphone.

Both displayed good speed and reflexes, but their techniques were laughable.

Observing their attire, one an idol and the other a nightclub queen, one wielding a whip and the other a microphone, it was clear that neither was a serious warrior.

"Servants." At the same time, Mash managed to get up from the ground while disregarding the dirt on her butt and said to Ritsuka, "It seems like we're at the final stage."

"Are you okay, Mash?"

"I can hold my own."

"..."

"Alright, then let's fight."

At this point, Ritsuka couldn't help but steal a couple of glances at Jalter; she seemed genuinely interested in the black version of Jeanne. But the situation didn't allow for much conversation.

"Jeanne, you go after her!" As the Master of Chaldea, Ritsuka quickly assigned tasks to the Servants, "Kiyohime, you and Marie will take on that female swordsman, let Elizabeth handle that BDSM woman. And then, Mash, your mission is the most important."

"What's my mission, Senpai?" Mash asked earnestly.

"Of course, it's to protect me!"

Mash: "..."

Though it was natural for a Servant to consider protecting their Master as a top priority, Ritsuka's matter-of-fact tone left Mash momentarily speechless, and she ended up rolling her eyes, her fighting spirit taking a hit.

"Although we had no prior disputes, you've crossed paths with my Master."

Following this, both parties squared off, clashing with blades and projectiles.

The first to clash were Jeanne and Jalter.

Even though Jeanne already asked Jalter countless questions, Jalter remained unwilling to answer.

Jalter found that Jeanne didn't wish to fight her but she was insistent on battling Jeanne.

Jeanne sought a peaceful resolution, but Jalter wouldn't allow Jeanne to find peace. Therefore, Jeanne could only engage in a skirmish with Jalter.

In this exchange, Jalter managed to overpower Jeanne.

Originally, both were Jeanne. Their strengths should have been evenly matched.

However, Jeanne had exhausted a significant amount of energy, stamina, and magical energy during the previous battle with cannon fodder. Whereas, Jalter had been conserving her energy and full of vigor.

Jalter also knew everything about Jeanne.

Thus, Artorius's Jeanne naturally dominated Ritsuka's Jeanne.

The copy surpassed the original, reminiscent of future Chinese products.

Similar events unfolded elsewhere as well.

Elizabeth had shouted too many times, and being untrained, she didn't know about three-tone resonance and couldn't use the chest voice. Her throat had grown hoarse within this short period. Naturally, she couldn't defeat Carmilla.

Of course, being slender had its advantages. If she weren't slim, she probably couldn't outrun Carmilla's Phantom Maiden. By now, she would have been locked inside, turned into dragon meat dumpling filling.

On the other side, d'Eon against Marie and Kiyohime's situation was similar.

Even with Ritsuka's magical energy replenishment, Marie had been squeezed nearly dry again. Hence, this battle could be considered as a significant drain, a one-on-one duel between Kiyohime and d'Eon.

A naginata should, in theory, be agile enough to counter d'Eon's quick swordplay.

Unfortunately, Kiyohime had sustained significant stamina loss and lagged behind d'Eon in agility. She could only defend but not attack, unable to execute her signature flame magecraft.

"This doesn't look good. We're losing on all fronts!" Ritsuka's expression soured as she observed the situation.

"Then let me..." After saying this, Mash assumed it was her time to step in, but Ritsuka stopped her again.

"You stay by my side." Ritsuka didn't hesitate, "I have a feeling that something will go wrong if you step in."

"But, Senpai..."

"Ah, I get it, I get it. Marie, why are you just standing there?"

Marie furrowed her brow, watching Ritsuka as though she were a deviant.

"No, it's because of my magical energy. I can't fight without it." Marie explained.

"Have you already exhausted the magical energy I supplied earlier?" Ritsuka pretended to be surprised.

Marie nodded slightly, a bit embarrassed.

"So, Ritsuka-chan, please use a Command Spell—"

"I understand!" Ritsuka interrupted her, "For victory, for justice, for humanity, I'll sacrifice myself and replenish your magical energy again!"

Marie, realizing Ritsuka's intention, looked somewhat displeased.

"Ritsuka-chan, what are you doing?!"

"What I'm doing? Of course, replenish your magical energy!"

"Ahh! No! Don't come any closer!"

And that was how Marie's magical energy was once again replenished by the chaotic evil Gudako.
