Chapter 55: Are You Crazy!?

A huge meatball full of ass-like holes, with six spider-like legs, and tentacles like scorpion tails.

Parker's form has been completely becoming a monster like in Cthulhu's mythos.

Parker's angry voice came from the meatball, "I knew it from the very first time I saw you all; I couldn't escape, and that's why I choose to inject myself with the B.O.W. I bought from the Black Umbrella called the Dominant Species Las Plagas! Hahaha! Really good value for money, I didn't expect to heal quickly even from a bullet in the head, I finally understand why they are so obsessed with producing those monsters, this power is amazing!"

"So you choose not going to be human anymore?" Li Yexing didn't give up. He poured gunfire at the mutated Parker, but ordinary bullets couldn't cause enough damage to him.

The monster sneered and wriggled his muscles, squeezing out the bullets stuck in his body one by one.

Lilith tried to engage in close combat with him but was repeatedly forced back by the corrosive liquid sprayed from his body. Ada was still looking for an opportunity, while Rita carefully protected Helen. She fired futilely at the mutated Parker, with a hint of despair in her eyes.

"Ada!" Li Yexing yelled at Ada while firing at the mutated Parker, "Can't you use your grappling gun to find a rocket launcher that can kill him in one hit?!"

Without realizing that he had let something slip, Li Yexing dodged the bladed tentacle of the monster, cursing and inserting the last magazine into his gun, firing continuously at the monster.

On the other side, Rita reached for her skirt but found nothing. Cold sweat ran down her face as she turned to look around. Everyone was trying their best to fire at the monster, but it was all in vain.

"Running out of ammunition is just a matter of time," said Li Yexing.

"You lowly pieces of trash who look down on me, TREMBLE! AND DIE BEFORE MY POWER! HAHAHA!!!" Parker's mad laughter echoed from his flesh ball as he waved his huge tentacles.

"In less than an hour, Black Umbrella's torpedoes will sink this ship. Since I can't escape, you might as well all die here with me!" As he spoke, acid sprayed from the holes in his body, driving back Lilith, who was trying to attack him.

"You damned monster, can't you just willingly hand over the magnetic card to us and wave your ugly tentacles at us as we leave under the moonlight?!" Li Yexing yelled as he dodged the monster's flailing tentacles.

"Of course, you can leave! I will happily tear you all apart, mix you up, and put you in a lifeboat to send you away!" Parker laughed wildly as his tentacles suddenly changed, smashing into Li Yexing's body despite his efforts to avoid the saw-toothed blades.

Li Yexing gritted his teeth and was thrown backward, crashing to the ground. Parker seized the opportunity, raised his tentacle with the blade, and slashed toward Li Yexing who had not yet stood up.

Just as he was about to hit, a hook with a cable flew by, narrowly missing Li Yexing and hooking onto his bulletproof vest. The next moment, the blade on the monster's tentacle struck hard where Li Yexing had just been, hitting the ground and producing a shower of sparks.

Li Yexing, who had been hooked, slid on the ground towards Ada while firing his gun at Parker until he stopped at her feet.

"You owe me one," Ada said to Li Yexing with a smile.

"Let's talk about it later..." Li Yexing stood up, unhooked himself, and looked at Parker, which was thrashing his tentacles around. "The current situation is that we are likely to be trapped here. Going forward means facing this thick-skinned monster while retreating means facing all the infected on the ship. This guy said that in less than an hour, the torpedo will blow up this ship and we'll be out of ammo."

"Can't your B.O.W. girl come up with a solution?" Ada asked.

"GIVE UP! GIVE UP! GIVE UP!!!" The mutated Parker roared, "ARE YOU BLIND?!!! RIGHT NOW, I AM THE EMBODIMENT OF POWER! I AM A GOD!!!"

As he spoke, he took slow steps toward Li Yexing and Ada, his six spider legs slowly moving, seemingly wanting to enjoy Leyexing and Ada's fear.

"God my ass!" LI Yexing picked up his gun and cursed, "Have you ever heard of a god with sexual dysfunction?"

Parker suddenly stopped his steps, and after a moment of silence, angry roars came from his flesh ball.

"How dare you look down on me?! I've decided, instead of chopping you up, I'm going to put you and Rita alive into my acid and rinse you down to bone scraps!" With that said, he waved his tentacles and rushed toward them at an accelerated speed.

Just as he was about to hit Li Yexing and Ada, Lilith gritted her teeth and ran up to fiercely embrace one of Parker's spider legs. Caught off guard by her sudden move, Parker stumbled and fell to the ground, spewing acid from his body.

Although Lilith dodged quickly, a small amount of acid still splashed on her bulletproof vest, emitting white smoke. Rita and Helen quickly rushed up to help Lilith take off the vest.

Seizing the precious opportunity created by Lilith, Li Yexing and Ada escaped Parker's attack range, but it was meaningless. They were all out of bullets and resources, and this battle had already become a slow death.

"STRUGGLE! INSECT! STRUGGLE!!!" Parker excitedly roared, "HOW CAN MERE MORTALS RESIST THE POWER OF A GOD?!!!"

Looking at the monster in front of her, Rita fell into deep despair.

Her cry also caught the attention of others. Li Yexing saw Rita put Umbrella's Legacy in her hand, and his eyes widened as he shouted, "Are you crazy?! What are you doing?! Put it back! That's not a toy for fuck sake?!"

Without hesitation, Ada ran straight toward Rita.

Lilith looked at Rita, not saying anything, her expression complicated.

Once this step was taken, there was no turning back. Even she didn't know what she would turn into, but... there was no other choice.

'Sir Li Yexing, you were right. I really am like a little kid sitting at a desk, deceiving myself.'

In the shocked eyes of everyone, Rita swallowed the entire meatball in one gulp...
