Do any of you have tattoos and feel like you’re treated differently by medical professionals?

They give me grief at first. I had to open my mouth and tell them I was a navy corpsman, how tattoos and medicine are simply part of my life. Luckily the attending doctor was a corpsman long ago and totally understood. Had a fun chat with him in front of the others and never again had any grief from anyone then on. I normally don’t like to tell people. I just say I’m a vet and it’s good.

I have a full arm and several others. I have noticed it tends to deal with the countries. Germany nurses are more tattooed than most people I know 🤣.
