[TSSIM] Chapter 387: Homura's Room

"Homura-kun, how long will this voice recording take, nyaa?"

On the side, Rin asked curiously.

"Hmm, I think it hasn't been too long since the plan was to follow the pace of the anime. After all, we've only completed a portion of them, and there are some modifications needed here and there, so we can't just copy the voices from the game."

As Homura explained like that, he paused for a moment before continuing.

"Hmm, if I'm not wrong, there will be multiple voice recording sessions, but each one won't take too long. Overall, it'll definitely take less time than recording for the game."

"Well, Isn't that obvious? The anime is just one route and the game has not only three routes but also various bad endings." Nico curled her lips.

Homura shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, that's right. So, you girls still have time to practice singing, dancing, and stuff. The festival at your school is coming up in just over twenty days, right?"

"We probably don't need much practice in singing though..." Maki chimed in. "Thanks to learning voice acting techniques, our singing skills have improved quite a bit."

"Seems like everyone has also improved a lot in dancing, right?" Kotori asked everyone.

"Maybe..." Honoka mumbled in a daze. "Is that really the case?"

"Huh? Did you guys practice extra again?" Homura stared at the nine girls suspiciously. "I understand how learning voice acting techniques can improve your singing skills, but what's the deal with dancing?"

The nine girls looked at each other, and finally, Eli came up with a guess.

"Isn't it related to the exercise Homura-kun taught us?"

"I've developed that exercise to enhance your flexibility and agility while reducing the risk of injury, but it won't build endurance and stamina. For that, you'll still need to jog regularly." Homura clarified.

However, after he thought carefully, Eli's guess seemed to be a plausible reason, since with enough flexibility and agility, mastering certain movements would become easier.

"Well, at first, I didn't think about it from this angle. I just wanted to reduce the risk of injuries, but it seems I inadvertently stumbled upon something..." Homura chuckled while rubbing his chin.

"The improvement in our idol skills turned out to be a pleasant surprise..." Umi's mood seemed a bit complicated.

"I wouldn't put it that way." Homura shook his head. "Isn't this the best outcome? You girls learned voice acting to enhance your idol skills, right? The improvement in dancing, on the other hand, is just a pleasant bonus. Although it's a surprise, it's reasonable. After all, the human body is so marvelous, and there are various connections between different skills, big and small."

After saying that, he held out his hand.

"Take me, for example. By practicing boxing, I've improved my control over my body, which allows me to master musical instruments better. And mastering musical instruments means better control, which in turn helps with boxing. This kind of improvement is mutually beneficial."

This explanation made it easier for the girls to accept.

"Homura-kun has indeed learned a lot of other things through boxing..." Nozomi smiled faintly. "Like dancing, and... maybe massages?"

Upon hearing that, Homura raised an eyebrow. Bringing up massages at this moment? Was she intentional?

Even Elf and Eriri, who were playing with their phones, perked up their ears, and even Megumi's attention shifted over.

"Hmm, I've also mastered swimming and diving..." Homura added calmly.

"..."

Nozomi was speechless for a moment before bringing the topic of massages back.

"Let's talk about massages then~"

'Alright, you really dive straight into it.' Homura sighed inwardly before speaking up. "Nozomi, do you want to experience it?"

"Yes."

Seeing Nozomi respond so quickly, even Eli was a bit puzzled for a moment. Why did she suddenly bring this up?

"Homura-kun mentioned it ages ago, and I've been curious for a while now~!" Nozomi quickly explained to Eli as if she could read her mind.

'Besides, if I don't take the lead... the rest of us wouldn't have the guts to bring it up.' Nozomi added inwardly. 'Ara, for the sake of everyone, I really put a lot of thought into it... fufufu...'

"It sounds interesting... Count me in!" Elf chimed in to join the fun.

"Ah! Me too! Me too!" Nayuta's reaction was what most people expected.

Meanwhile, Sagiri silently motivated herself.

Last time, she had the chance but because she was too shy, she gave up! This time, she definitely wouldn't!

"Nii-san..." Sagiri raised her hand.

Upon seeing his little sister's action, Homura smiled helplessly.

"Okay, calm down. I didn't say no, okay? If you want to give it a try, then come on, but shouldn't we go upstairs? We can't just do it in the living room, and there's not much space here anyway."

"Hmm? How about we use Homura-kun's room?" Nozomi looked displeased. "I haven't been in Homura-kun's room yet!"

"Rin hasn't been in either, nyaa~" Rin came over with a grin to join the fun.

"I haven't been in either!" Honoka decisively nodded.

Homura shrugged his shoulders. "If you want to go to my room, you can go anytime, but like I said, my room also doesn't have much space. Wouldn't you want to lie down for a while after being massaged all over?"

"I'd rather go to Homura-kun's room than lie down~" Nozomi smiled, insisting on her idea.

Homura: "..."

"Actually, Homura's bed is quite big! Two people can easily lie down together. When massaging the person at the back, the person in front can totally lie down." Elf explained, clearly not minding making a big deal out of it.

"I see..." Nozomi had a mischievous smile. "Gotcha! Then... Onward! To Homura-kun's room! Let's go!"

""Ohh!""

'Seriously, why are there so many 'Ohh!'? Are you all that excited?' Homura had a sweat drop.

"Homura-kun, what are you doing? Come over here!" Nozomi, who had already entered his room, looked at Homura, who hadn't followed and waved at him.

"Hahh..." Homura sighed tiredly. 'You make me feel like I'm the guest here...'

"So this is what Homura-kun's room looks like..." Honoka sighed as she observed the entire room.

"Neatness is expected." Maki nodded calmly. "The overall layout looks simple, but with these neatly arranged figures and posters on the wall... it definitely screams 'otaku room'."

"Ahh, it's Rin-chan!"

Hanayo suddenly exclaimed as she spotted a drawing of Rin hanging in Homura's room.

"Looking at it this way, it's embarrassing, nyaa~!"

Rin blushed as Hanayo dragged her, looking at her own drawing hanging in Homura's room, resembling a wedding photo.

"But quite a few of these posters have been replaced..." Eriri also took a fresh look at Homura's room. "Compared to the first time we came in, many posters have been swapped with posters from Another Dimension, huh?"

"Well, that's obvious..." Homura shook his head. "As the big boss of Another Dimension, it's only natural that my room is filled with posters from our circle's works, right? If we had more works, the old ones would have been swapped out long ago."

"Huh? What are these boxes for?" Nico asked curiously as she noticed several boxes piled up.

"Oh, these? These are the first batch of completed figures of various characters, and they're all numbered one! Of course, I had to get them! Oh right, they just arrived this morning by the way."

Upon hearing that, the girls all facepalmed.

That was truly something only a dedicated otaku would do.
