Re-topology muscle practice
Added 2025-09-02 05:16:02 +0000 UTCSure, she looks about the same as the old sculpture. But look what she can do! Had to get something in for Labor Day, and I spent it giving re-topology a go. For those who don't know, a usual workflow for making "good" models is to first block it out, then do a sculpture, then, to make that sculpture usable for other things, coat the outside with a simplified mesh, which is called re-topology. You do it right, and you can hardly tell the difference. Took me all day to figure out how, but I'm proud of it! It was also a thing I needed to learn how to do in order to finish my models for the game, which, don't worry, is still being worked on!
