It's so short and simple, but so powerful. Ahh, there was that last part that didn't get translated. When daughter asks Tul (Jes' character) why her name is Garn, he replies "Garn means "beloved one". There were lots of debates in the fandom if Tul loved Garn just as a friend and couldn't offer him more or if he loved him romantically but was just afraid of getting into same-sex relationship, and also wanted a family and children which wasn't possible for them back then in Thailand. Some people said he was egoistic, some sympathized with him. It surely wasn't easy for him as well, that's what I'm certain about. And he did love Garn a lot in his own way, whatever may his reasons be not to get together with him. But there's also this thing that you mentioned, would Garn really get into relationship with Tul if he knew he'd probably die soon? And leave Tul alone without family or children. I just recently watched an interview with terminally ill 18-years old girl who has a boyfriend, and she sad she really wanted to experience love and enjoy it to the fullest while many ppl warned her from it. She says we actually never know how much time we have together with our beloved one, and them both now realizing their time is so limited makes them to cherish every second of it much more. So from this point of view maybe it would make sense for them to try to get together, even if for a short while... I don't know, it's up to each person to decide. That's such a deep conversation indeed. For me it was the first taste of JesBible chemistry and their acting together, and it was just amazing. I already knew Bible's acting was great, but here we for the first time saw his 2 years progress, and it's insane. I also haven't seen Jes in anything before, and I was shocked at how good his acting is here, so natural and emotional. They both are really good at portraying their characters even without saying a word. One more thing that is stuck in my head after it is what Jes said during their fanmeet soon after this short movie released. Fans: will 4 minutes be sad? Jes: well... you watched Spaceless. Was it bitter? Fans: yeah, it was bitter. Jes: after watching 4 minutes it will seem tasteless So... yeah. I'll leave you with this thought xD Jes assured us that Tyme is nothing like Tul tho, and both Bible and Jes said Spaceless isn't like a spoiler for 4 minutes, but there are some similarities or rather hints. Now I think maybe it's Garn having heart problems?.. No, I don't want to think about the ending, I refuse xD
