for someone that i once considered the most interesting person in any room, you have become very very boring. the analogy that comes to mind is that of a toothless, clawless tiger in a small, underfunded, depressing zoo.

everything that once gave you edge is gone. the enclosure you are in is a spit in the face of what you once were- but depressingly fitting for what you have become.
pacing. pacing. pacing.

do you think the animals get sick of it?
pacing. pacing. pacing.
deceivingly sweet looking creatures staring at you as you
pace. pace. pace.
do you pace because you know they are more dangerous than you could ever hope to be? do you pace because they stare? why are you pacing?
i hope its out of fear. i hope your stomach is in knots that you will never be able to untangle again. i hope you are sick with terror.
pace. pace. pace.

enough of the now. lets go back to a time that you had teeth.

do you remember our first date? it was not the last date- but certainly the most memorable.
maybe it was the alcohol that made you say that you were the worst possible thing to happen to me. back then i thought it was a weird flirting tactic. now i know it was a confession, a warning, a vow.

what did i say back to you little tiger?
"how bad could you possibly be?"
just words to me, not with any meaning behind it. just a thoughtless reply.
