Oh boy this episode is confusing for a lot of people, you will get a grasp of what happened/happening right now in next 4-6 eps, the Chinese guy having "funny voice" is on purpose because he is a eunuch (very common in Chinese government in history). About spoilers in openings, you can see who murderer is in Erased from ep1 if you stop at perfect moment of opening in shattered glass scene, there is a reflection.
