2024-05-01 17:03:51 +0000 UTCGreat reaction!I love this movie! So the Transformers originated in 1984, as a hugely popular toyline and cartoon series! The original cartoon (1984-1987) spawned a theatrical animated movie in 1986 "Transformers: The Movie", and the animation is spectaular and the film has an amazing 80's rock score and soundtrack, I HIGHLY recommend watching that animated movie before continuing on with these live action movies. Also, the voice actor (Peter Cullen) who voiced Optimus Prime in this 2007 movie was also his original voice from the cartoon. For these live action movies, I think the first 3 are great, it's basically a trilogy. The 4th and 5th movies are horrible (in my opinion), and they bring in a new cast and they go off the rails. After the 5th film, they rebooted the film series with the film "Bumblebee" in 2018 which is fantastic, followed by Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which is also really good. That's my 2 cents!
