that conversation with kita about geniuses and how they arent amazing from the start is such good storytelling. its directly opposite to the earlier seaons with how oikawa stated that no matter what he did he kageyama would always surpass him because he was a 'genius'. its correlations like this that make haikyuu the goat of sports anime.
