Hey friends, so it happened - I finally started Patreon!

First and foremost, thank you so much for pledging! Words cannot express how eternally grateful (and nervous) I am, but your support means the world to me and I promise I will never forget it. I am here today because of you and many others who to my surprise, actually enjoy seeing what I do. That's all very surreal to me, by the way!

Never in my entire life would I think I'd be able to earn a single dollar from doing art. Art was never a skill that anyone cared much about where I'm from, as the "starving artist" narrative is rooted deep in our community. Growing up, I was always asked to do art for free or as a favour, so when people (you guys) started buying me coffees and encouraging me to "go pro", I was floored. For the first time in my life, there are people out there who would actually support what I do!

I've thought about Patreon for months but have been putting it off simply cuz I wasn't ready. It was something I didn't think I'd be able to pull off. What if nobody cares? But y'know, there has to be someone who does, and I think that someone, even if it's just the one, is good enough for me.

So again, thank you so much for being here, this has been a very humbling experience. All I ever wanted to do was tell stories, and here we are! I have a lot left to learn, but I promise I will do my best.
