The Obedience App

How do I use it?

I mostly use this app for my Submissive Personal Development dynamics. These dynamics are aimed at helping folks who have mental health issues or folks who need help with achieving their goals. Obedience helps me create structure and rules, hold subs accountable, deliver consequences, and delight little subbie hearts with rewards.

What is Obedience?

Obedience is a habit tracker, specifically for people in dom/sub dynamics. You can add multiple partners, and each person’s role will show what they are in relation to you. This means that you can have multiple doms and subs.

Habits

The dom can create up to 7 habits for the sub (unlimited if you have premium subscription). As the sub completes habits, they score points with which they can buy rewards. This is, of course, completely customisable. The dom can also create negative habits, i.e. things the sub should do less/none of.

Examples of habits:

• Eat at least 2 nourishing meals per day (have to complete at least twice to score points)
• Drink maximum 4 cups of coffee per day (lose points if done more than four times)
• Gain/lose 5kg (a bigger goal can mean more points, eg 15 points, but needs to be broken down into smaller, achievable habits, example below)
• Exercise for at least 30 mins at least 4 times per week (subs can do whichever exercises work for them, based on schedules, weather, injuries etc)

Rewards

The completion of habits earn the sub points, which can be used to buy rewards. The dom will determine the value of each reward in terms of points. Rewards can include a variety of things and they’re sometimes hard to think of when you first start off. A useful tool here is to think of things the sub would love to buy or do for themselves, but would feel guilty about because it costs a bit of money. The dom can also base some rewards on the sub’s kinks and on the type of dynamic they have. Another good inspiration for rewards is to think in terms of the sub’s love languages.

Examples of rewards:

• Buy *THAT* pair of shoes (100 points)
• Buy a new stuffie (50 points)
• Video/audio recording of the dom praising the sub (25 points)
• Book a massage (75 points)
• Bubble bath with wine, candles, music (75 points)

Punishments

These will vary from dynamic to dynamic and should ideally include funishments, small punishments, and big punishments. Funishments can be deal when the sub brats or when the dom just feels like being a bit of an asshole. Small and big punishments are for breaking the rules - not for having a bad habits day. The punishments can also be completed by the sub and photo/video proof can be sent to the dom.

Examples of punishments:

• Early bedtime for 1 day or week
• Writing lines
• Eating only veggies for a whole day
• Self-spanking or spanking by dom
• Chastity/orgasm denial/edging with orgasm denial

• Rules, where the dom can add the agreed upon rules of the dynamic.
• Limits, where both the dom and sub can write their respective and various limits (soft, hard, requirement, time).
• Ideas, where both dom and sub can add ideas that they need to discuss.
• Other - I like to use this section for keeping record of transgressions until it is time for deciding on and dishing out punishments.

As always, everything needs to be discussed and consented to between each dom and sub, before adding and removing and implementing things on the app. The app is an amazing tool to contribute to the beauty of your dynamic(s).
