Dang. When an episode isn’t your usual analysis and dive that when you know it’s bad 😂 But yeah the spike episode’s can be pretty annoying a lot of the time if they don’t focus on his development since he can be incompetent. Can easily see why it’s not liked. And no don’t feel sorry. Not every episode is going to be splendid and incredible. This is a safe place!

2024-05-17 06:39:43 +0000 UTC"Spike at your service" is one of the weakest episodes in Season 3, well maybe even overall. Personally, it makes me angry, because there is little good about it - it is just completely predictable and just displays Spike as useless and clumsy, just for the sake of being useless to Applejack. Even though we know he is Twilights most trusted helpful assistant. Another point that irks me is the Dragoncode that Spike is suddenly talking about. It was never mentioned before... How could he have something like that? If you think back to Dragonquest, it was told that he doesn't even know anything about dragons in the first place... - its highly illogical...and came never up again. At least we get to see a new monster, the Timberwolves and AJ's neat fight against them. I also like some of the interaction between the Mane 6 and some funny slapsticks moments. Timberwolves dont really die, it seems like they're just spirits taking possession of wood. David versus Goliath reference here - a simple rock defeats a timberwolf... yeah...i can live with that. 😓 AJ's code of "that's what friends do" is the only real good message here. 👍 Sorry for this little rant, but this episode makes me mad 😅 And there is a reason why most people didn't like it. At any rate your reaction to this episode was worthy to watch - thank you! 💙
