Definitely liked the episode for the twilight attention and new found interest. Youre right that it’s about celebrity culture! And love how she’s mentoring the CMC. It’s so cute and fitting that they learn from the new princess
You know RD is brushing off on her 😂
Yes the message didn’t land but I understood what they were doing. But you’re also right that we get different sides of the CMC.

"Twilight Time" is an episode that balances humor and life lessons, demonstrating the value of honest relationships and the significance of dedication to personal growth.
- Some notes/thoughts/facts: -
Your intros are so random sometimes... i like that XD
You shouldn't stop being you, just be you damnit, didn't we just learn it 2 Episodes before? ;D
It is a CMC and twilight focused episode! I love the interaction between Twilight and the CMC's here. I also like that concept behind "Twilight Time" teaching the Cutie Mark Crusaders various skills like magic, assembling, and potion making.
That coughing plant was hilarious!
Oh no... the terrible ones are here :o
Want them to die? Well, even though i can understand that - it's still very harsh... 😅
I 🤣 at your comparison of Diamond's actions to that of all the tiktok girls..!
It somehow hits the nail on it's head.
Diamond Tiara: "You must bring me along next time you go!"
Silver Spoon: "Bring us along!"
Diamond Tiara: "I mean, we used to see her around town all the time, and I thought, 'whatever'... - But now she's a princess, which makes her totally awesome!"
Silver Spoon: "Plus, she has wings."
Diamond Tiara: "And she's an Alicorn. So can I–"
Silver Spoon: "We!"
Diamond Tiara: "–go?"
JUST WOW.... - Not only that they are superficial about other people, this also shows us how Diamond Tiara just disrespects Silver Spoon in a way. - I wonder how these two even got acquainted in the first place.
If you think about it, its the first time we even see some Ponies recognizing or fangirling over Twilight for being a princess. Most of the time's she is ignored...
I don't know why... but every time someone says: "i got this..." i get this chill feeling running down my back... we all know how this often leads to problems...
Somehow seeing Twilight slobbering her food here is cutesy.
These are Hayburgers - Ponies are vegetarian.
Didn't expect Scootaloo to be the showoff here... you could say Rainbow Dash's influence is rubbing of here.
The CMC's got swept away by all the fame they got and I totally can understand them here. But it was obvious they all did it just to fancy the CMC and getting the chance to be invited to Twilight time just to meet celebrity... nothing else.
Some people didn't like the resolution scene because it felt ham-fisted, having the CMCs perform the skills flawlessly right after very pointedly being unable to perform them. But i think otherwise, because they didn't exactly do what the should have been doing (except for Scootaloo), they did' easier variants of them: Apple Bloom did another receipt and Sweetie Belle just lifted an easier object. - thats fine by me.
Spike's nacho joke at the end is way too funny. 😂
The pacing was strange and slow... it was somehow off - i have to agree with you here...

This episode was a nice pause to the CMC's hunt for their cutie marks, it wasn't the main topic here as it was in the most other episodes where they were just cutie mark obsessed kids all of the time. However, we get to see the different sides to their personalities. Especially Sweetie Belle, who seems to take her place as the leading but troublesome figure in this group. Her 'relax, guys, I got this' attitude brings them in all kinds of trouble it seems.
Also most expected the CMC's to gain their cutie marks here, but you are right... it wouldn't have been the right time here.
I also think it's an amusing commentary on the celebrity world. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon make it no secret that they only care about Twilight because she's a princess, and she and the other foals are pretty much paparazzi-like...
Overall this episode was one of the lowest in this season, but still a decent one. Just the message wasn't as impactful as wish it could have been and maybe this explains why this episode feels off in a way...
Anyway still a good reaction by you Ed, thank you 💙
